The capability at SBCSR extends across a wide range of disciplines impacting upon crop storage. Our work is conducted within a quality management system accredited to ISO 9001 (2008). Expertise includes advisory, research and development activity on:
Pathology
Identification and quantitative assessment of pathogens. Diagnostics using PCR and other serological techniques.
Store management
Airflow, design engineering, energy use, environmental control, insulation: optimisation, troubleshooting and auditing.
Chemical application
Science and practical use of thermal fogging, spraying and misting technologies.
