Various levy funded projects that examined fertiliser use and uptake by potato crops have identified where potential savings can be made by matching application with true fertiliser requirement. Many of the findings have been incorporated into the fertiliser recommendations (RB209, 8th edition).

To highlight these potential savings and to help you interpret some of the information within RB209, the new publication 'Crop Nutrition for Potatoes' has been issued.
