Sustaining demand for potatoes is a core part of Potato Council’s activity. A targeted approached is taken to protecting sales of potatoes. The focus is on the generic potato to ensure that is supports all parts of the industry – fresh, processed, retail and foodservice.
All marketing activities need industry support to maximise the impact of the activity. A strong message needs to be promoted by the whole industry. Getting involved in campaign and projects will bring rewards; both at a business and industry-wide level.
