Grow Your Own Potatoes schools project
Schools will be harvesting their crop in June for 2012, can you help local schools to do this and talk to them about what happens on the farm during harvest time? Helping with harvesting will provide a good way to speak to children about what happens on the farm and how potatoes grow. Local MPs may also be interested in seeing harvesting in action, could you invite your local MP to an event at a local school? Contact Maria Ball in the Marketing and Corporate Affairs team who will be able to provide some support and materials for you. 024 76 47 8773.
