Further details are now available for our annual two day course for growers and store managers who are involved in the day-to-day management of potato stores.
The course content includes: store management principles, control/monitoring, sprout suppression options (CIPC application & stewardship, ethylene use, environmental and residue management), achieving quality for markets and energy efficiency.
The course will involve talks, group discussions and interactive workshop sessions. The venue is the Wychwood Park Hotel, Weston, Crewe, Cheshire, CW2 5GP.
Delegate numbers are limited so early application is recommended. Potato Council levy payers are eligible for discounted rates. See the course booking form for prices and further details. BASIS and NRoSO points have been applied for. The closing date for bookings is 27th February 2014.
